Here’s a quick recap on what we improved in MAPP.it during 2021.
Mobile
We have made a few small changes to the interface for improved compatibility with mobile devices and user experience. The navigation and tools pane is now scrollable (for improved usability in smaller screens) and possible to hide in order to maximize the map view. The buttons locations were rearranged to better fit on a small screen.

Location
We have added real-time GPS location to help with field scouting and sampling. A home button was also added to return to the default, global estate view.

Tools
The tools pane was tweaked to improve visualisation, including a larger histogram and changes to the default settings. A new option was also added to cluster the data into preset percentiles: 25–50–75 and 10–25–75–90.

Data download
It is now possible to download the very high resolution ortho-mosaics directly through MAPP.it. The PDF generated and downloadable from MAPP.it was also improved with better readability of the histogram labels and cluster thresholds.

General
Other than small bug correction and general stability improvements, MAPP.it-wide notifications were implemented and are now providing satellite-related updates.
